I wrote “I Feel Fine” years ago - in my early 20’s. It was meant to be recorded on one of my earlier projects but never had the right feel until now. It started out as a slow tempo acoustic song, but I always knew it needed bigger production. It’s about wanting to feel genuinely “fine” - surrounding yourself with the people that make you feel safe, confident, and loved.
We had a lot of fun making this one! We set up a bunch of colourful, flashing lights in my rehearsal studio, wore some fun band Tshirts and danced like no one was watching!
